Cold Weather Running

Yesterday's run was the coldest of the year with temps hovering around 10 below. Four hearty HRG Runners braved the cold and met at 8:30 for our usual outing. Very few others were out as evidenced by the opened parking spaces around the lake. I wish I had a camera to record the ice and frost build up on the masks and scarves. Thankfully there was little to no wind and the sun was shining to make it seem not as cold. Large beverages were the norm as we gathered for coffee and conversation afterward.
